Excellent opportunities for GP Training The Royal NZ College of GPs has some excellent training options for those of you wanting to specialise in the ‘whole of person’ healthcare by experiencing and training in general practice. Read more and apply NOW.... PGGP (Postgraduate Generalist Placement): three month run for PGY2s or 3s to experience hands-on general practice. Intakes occur four times a year. GPEP (General Practice Education Programme): three year programme for PGY3s to become vocationally registered general practitioners. Next intake starts in December. Deadline for applications is 1st June 2012. DRHM (Division of Rural Hospital Medicine): four year programme run by DRHM for the vocational scope of rural hospital medicine. Next intake starts in December. Deadline for applications 30th June 2012.
